Why I Never Use a Glue Gun [+ the BEST glues for different DIY materials!]

If you’re reading this, it’s in all probability because y'all can’t believe the that I’m a DIY blogger that doesn’t job a mucilage gun. I accept a Cricut Explore that cuts a TON of dissimilar materials, but I don’t job a mucilage gun on any of them? I know it sounds crazy. Totally nuts. Yes, I have  used a mucilage gun, but I rarely job i anymore. Why, y'all ask? Let me state you!

Can whatever of y'all honestly state me y'all similar using one?! I burn downwards myself every. single. time. I job one. Maybe I’m but non patient enough.. lol. But if I hold off until the mucilage isn’t hot, as well as then its dry out as well as I accept to pare it off, taking my operate surface amongst it. Can’t win. And as well as then there’s the mucilage strings… ugh. How tin forcefulness out y'all perchance snuff it a DIY projection to await proficient amongst those strings? And the clumps? It’s impossible to flatten the mucilage earlier it dries, as well as and then I destination upwardly amongst lumps as well as clumps all over my project… I’m also much of a perfectionist to operate amongst a mucilage gun!

So I accept a mucilage stash. H5N1 few dissimilar glues that I job for EVERYTHING from crafts amongst my daughters, to DIYs amongst my Cricut Explore, to woodworking. And I hope that NONE of these glues burn downwards you, exit clumps, or strings!

Ceramics – Two role epoxy

Copper – Two role epoxy

Cork – Power-Tac <– Super string as well as nonetheless dries actually fast!

Craft Metal – Power-Tac

Denim – Fabri-Tac

Embellishments (Rhinestones, glitter, pearls, etc.) – Gem-Tac

Fabric – Fabri-Tac

Fur (faux) – 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Felt – Fabri-Tac

Jute string – 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Lace – Fabri-Tac

Leather – Power-Tac (I used to job E6000, but this stuff doesn’t smell)

Leather (faux) –3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Paper (tissue paper, cardstock, regular) – Any mucilage stick, or Mod Podge for decoupage

Pipe cleaners –3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Plastic –Two role epoxy

Pom poms –3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Raffia – Spray Adhesive (on surface)

Ribbon –Fabri-Tac

Rope – PL Premium

Tissue Paper – Spray Adhesive

Twine – 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Vellum – Spray Adhesive

Wire (floral) – 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue

Wood – Wood glue
