Has it been a calendar week already?! This 1 room challenge seems to live on going faster than the residuum of them! Last calendar week I shared our pattern plans for another One Room Challenge. I wanted everything to live on a beautiful crisp white, thence I used my favourite white correct now, which is White Design (previously Jojo Whitewash) from Para Paints. It’s from my whole habitation pigment color palette too I LOVE the colour.

How beautiful is this white?! We genuinely decided to pigment the entire household white. Every wall too the large pino vaulted ceiling. There was NO means that I was gonna larn upward on that scaffolding, thence nosotros hired this 1 out (shocking for us! I know!). We really never hire anyone, generally because nosotros are likewise cheap. But this was a must too our painters did an amazing job! The whole habitation is thence brilliant now. Paint genuinely tin brand the biggest difference!

So I asked the painters to pigment it inwards the Artiface color from Para Paints. Well… here’s proof: bloggers brand mistakes. LOL. When the painters were done too they removed all of the record too equipment I went to the household to come across it all. I loved the white thence much, but was shocked to come across the characteristic wall had a greenish tinge. I had painted samples on the walls, too pose the “beige” too white beside each other … I idea it would live on great!

The pigment is a beautiful colour, I must say. I volition in all likelihood role it inwards my daughter’s chamber similar a shot that I’ve seen how it goes on!


I tried to convince myself that I liked it on this living room wall for close an hour, until I but couldn’t popular off on upward amongst my act. The conversation amongst my hubby went something similar this…


Me: “Ummm….. Nope. I don’t similar it”

Hubby: “Whhhhaaaat???”

Me: “I don’t similar it. I demand it repainted”

Hubby: “What? No! We already paid them! They’re gone! No!”

Me: “Yep. I can’t alive similar this. I demand it painted”

Hubby: “Nope. No way”


Then this went dorsum too forth for an afternoon. Eventually I won, lol. So the scaffolding is nonetheless upward too our painters are coming dorsum – hopefully this calendar week – too the walls volition all live on white :) Sorry hubby! Please nonetheless dear me!

Aside from that 1 blemish… did y'all notice the built-up fireplace?! It’s all framed in! We are using the existing fireplace, but nosotros made a custom box for our audio bar too TV. They are a perfect fit.

My homo was busy changing out all of the traditional moldings for beautiful foursquare modern ones.

They hold back SO good! Now nosotros but receive got to practise the residuum of the house…. lol.


 


He also ran electrical to add together 2 novel sconces on either side of my fireplace. And I’ve picked out the perfect sconces that I’m excited to exhibit y'all shortly ;)

Dream Closet Makeover Reveal

It’s a beautiful 24-hour interval for a room reveal, don’t you lot think?
