Father’s Day Footprint Card
Looking for a creative Father’s Day carte this year? So was I! My hubby loves his fourth dimension inward the garage (as y'all may convey read hither or there!), thus I tried to mean value of a agency to contain his beloved of woodworking into our carte this year, as well as I came upward alongside this fun Father’s Day Footprint Card.
I used my daughters footprint (as fast every bit she would allow me!) to brand a “hammer”, as well as I used her pinky fingers to brand the “nails”. I mean value the terminate termination is adorable!
Here’s everything I used to brand this project:
Cricut Explore
Copper Cricut Pen
Jackson Paper Package (Close to My Heart)
Grey as well as chocolate-brown acrylic paint
Foam Brush
Triangle studs
Tape
Glue Pen (optional)
I started alongside all of the wording on my Cricut Explore. I cutting out the give-and-take “Fatherhood” using newspaper from the Jackson newspaper pack mentioned above. Then I used the Copper Cricut Pen to write “You nailed it!” onto the white cardstock. My personal writing is atrocious, thus the cricut writing characteristic is a HUGE Godsend for me!
To brand the footprints as well as fingerprints, I exactly slathered grayness pigment all over my daughters human foot using a foam brush, as well as and then stood her upward on the newspaper to brand the footprint. She’s well-nigh xvi months old, thus she all the same has a tiny plenty human foot :) I as well as then slathered grayness pigment onto her pinky fingers to brand a dyad of “nails”.
I added the strip of grayness at the hold upward past times of the nails, as well as the chocolate-brown handgrip past times hand. I tried to role her fingers to brand footling fingerprints inward the wooden handgrip – add together roughly texture. But they didn’t demo upward all that well. If y'all squint perchance y'all tin encounter them?! lol.
And that’s it!
A perfectly personalized carte for Daddy :)
