DIY Nursery Art: Embroidery Hoop

Looking for something to consummate your plant nursery wall? Something homemade?

I was looking for something to consummate this space inwards my babe girl’s bedroom.

I already had the infinite opened upward for an embroidery hoop (to add together roughly soft circular edges to the plant nursery photograph wall!), I only needed roughly DIY inspiration.

I decided to brand an icon of a kite flying. I similar the imagery since the photograph sits on the wall higher upward her crib, but I too liked the symbolic ideas of letting her dreams soar.

Here’s how I did it:

Materials:

Felt (colours to coordinate alongside your plant nursery if desired)

Scissors

Embroidery thread

Embroidery hoop

Needles

Glue gun/crazy glue

White spray pigment (if desired)

The balance is easy! Simply cutting the shapes out soundless you lot choose. together with stitch them to the background felt past times manus using the needle together with embroidery string. I tried to coordinate string colours alongside my felt colours.  Alternatively, you lot could only manus stitch the string onto the felt pieces together with therefore gum the felt pieces downwards where you lot wishing them after. The crazy gum sticks VERY well, but tin move a combat finicky alongside felt, therefore sometimes the gum gun is easier.

I too spray painted the embroidery hoop white to jibe the other frames inwards the nursery.
