How to Make Your Own DIY Birthday Crown
To begin, I used my Cricut Explore to honour a apartment icon of a crown that I liked. I institute the ane above, in addition to figured that I would necessitate close 8 inches of vinyl to become around my daughter’s head, therefore I gear upwardly the slice to 8 inches, in addition to and therefore cutting it out on vinyl :) I too cutting out a “1” inward a font I liked, on the same canvas of vinyl.
Next, I ironed the vinyl crown, in addition to the “1” into the felt, every bit per the instructions (for to a greater extent than information on how to cutting vinyl, read here). Once the shapes were ironed on, I cutting them out yesteryear hand. I left a regal felt outline around the “1” therefore that the seat out would stand upwardly out in addition to live readable on the golden crown
I measured the elastic therefore that it would check around her head, in addition to attached the 2 ends. I sewed them together, only y'all could purpose the E6000 to attach them every bit well. Then I got gluing!
I glued the “1” onto the crown in addition to allow it set. Then glued the ends of the crown together in addition to allow that set. Finally, I glued the elastic onto the bottom of the crown in addition to allow that set. TA-DA!
She looked similar a niggling princess on her birthday, in addition to I LOVED every infinitesimal of it!
