Drill (with 1/8 or 1/4 inch bit)
Chalkboard paint
Thin paintbrush
Jute string
Chalk
You commencement past times mark off the size of the slices y'all want. I chose to cutting these slices close 1/4″ (the pic to a higher house is marked for about other project). Cut nonetheless many slices y'all withdraw using your mitre saw.
Once y'all are done cutting y'all tin drill a modest hole inward the top, using an 1/8″ or a 1/4″ drill bit. The width y'all desire may depend on the width of the string y'all are using besides (my simply string was fairly thick).
Next, purpose your chalkboard paint and paintbrush to pigment the chalkboard forepart onto your forest slices. You tin brand the infinite equally large equally y'all like! I simply free-handed my icon :)
Then y'all describe your jute string through the drill hole to permit them to hang onto your bows as well as packaging, as well as you’re done! Use your chalk to label them whatever means y'all similar – names, pictures, symbols! I simply LOVE seeing the natural knots from the forest on the sides of my gift tags :)
