It all starts here: amongst this Metal Gear Clamp. I chose to purchase a 4 inch one, because I knew it would gibe perfectly closed to my tin cans, but if you lot convey dissimilar sized cans, the clamps come upward inward many sizes.

Since I was making a Caddy, I wanted to add together a grip every bit well. So I grabbed a Hardwood Dowel 1/2 In. x 48 In, and cutting it downward hence that it was the size of my cans, addition approx 3 inches.
