Taste of Autumn

I L-O-V-E the fall.

It is easily my favourite season.

I beloved the temperatures, the colours, the leaves falling, pumpkins, apples, & cinnamon.

What’s non to love?!?

Our autumn came amongst handfuls of fresh apples from mom’s tree – perfect baking apples!

 

Clearly I lay these apples to expert purpose :)

Apple pie was commencement on the agenda.

 

Then, since nosotros had to a greater extent than crust, as well as to a greater extent than apples – mini private apple tree pies were made likewise :)

 

 

We shared the goodness amongst neighbours as well as family.

My mother in law told me the crust was every bit expert every bit hers! Wow – that’s a compliment!

Unfortunately I didn’t snap whatever photos til after… but hither are the leftovers!

Since nosotros nevertheless had to a greater extent than apples to spare nosotros also baked about quick apple tree cinnamon pancakes for breakfast!

I merely used my normal pancake recipe as well as threw inward the apples as well as likely a tsp of cinnamon.

Pancakes are the easiest breakfast because they are as well as then quick to make, you lot tin add together around anything to liven them up, as well as they’re made amongst uncomplicated ingredients that I always convey lying around my kitchen!

Even without whipped cream, these pancakes were delicious!
