DIY Gift Mug

 

I’ve seen mugs similar this floating exactly about the Pinterest world, then I decided to endeavor too out too brand 1 for myself! Or rather, for mortal else :)

The projection was beyond simple!

Materials:

Porcelain mug (mine is from the dollar store)

Permanent markers

Print-outs of your state/province (if yous desire 1 designed similar mine)

 

 

I chose to run Alberta too Ontario photos because I was sending the mug to a friend living inwards Ontario.

All I did was record the cut-outs to either side of the mug, describe them, too connect the dots betwixt our homes amongst the permanent markers. Bake at 350F for xxx minutes to allow it set, too you’re done!

Mistakes are easily wiped away earlier it goes inwards the oven, then don’t worry nearly errors equally yous draw. Also, I washed the mug later it had cooled. Scrubbing it took some of the mark off, then I merely re-applied ink to the dodgy bits too cooked it 1 time to a greater extent than for some other xxx minutes.

I advised my friend to ever handwash it, too non to scrub the exterior likewise difficult – if it fades softly, she tin ever re-trace the lines herself :)
